A couple of my favorite projects

Euro-Tech Motors

This site was among the first of hundreds I built for Shopgenie, and it remains one of my favorites. I was responsible for both the design and development, working closely with the client to deliver a modern aesthetic that incorporated the vibrant orange from their logo throughout the layout.

Despite being an early project, I'm proud of how polished and effective the final result was. I implemented several automations, including one that displays live review counts using the Google Places API and another that keeps the copyright date up to date automatically.

The site continues to perform exceptionally well, scoring 90+ across all categories in Google's PageSpeed Insights and 92+ for site health on SEMRUSH. Most notably, the client has been so satisfied that, even after more than two years, no major design revisions have been requested.

Blog Post Automation

This automation project was both challenging and rewarding. The objective was to streamline our blog post creation process by combining a refined prompt I developed with the OpenAI API and integrating it into the Duda platform. However, a key challenge emerged early on—Duda's API lacked the necessary endpoints to fully automate publishing.

To overcome this, I first refined the prompt to function reliably through the OpenAI API within an automated workflow. I then connected it to a centralized database containing all of our live websites, allowing us to automatically generate tailored blog posts at scale.

The next hurdle was publishing the content. To solve this, I built a UI automation using Playwright that could simulate the publishing process within the Duda interface. While my initial deployment attempt on Heroku faced limitations due to the use of a headless browser, I successfully migrated the solution to AWS.

Despite the obstacles, this project was a valuable learning experience and a great opportunity to engineer creative solutions for real-world limitations in third-party platforms.
